The goal of all classes at Light Yoga Space is to create accessible, non-competitive, safe, welcoming, online, community classes for all body types. EVERY BODY is welcome. These classes are very fat welcoming (and led by a fat yoga teacher).
You are welcome to have your cameras on or off. If your camera is on you will get more personal guidance. If your camera is off you can enjoy privacy and anonymity.
Class numbers tend to be small and friendly usually between 2-8 people
EVERY BODY is invited to attend these classes.
We will explore a seriesof yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques that follow the classical Sivananda class sequence quite closely and with more traditional adjustments and cues.
These classes are set at a ‘slightly’ stronger, more demanding pace than the Body Positive and Fat Positive Classes, however everyone in the session will be guided to practice at your own pace and lots of options will be offered to help you find the most comfortable and relaxing way of holding each pose that is right for you.
This class runs straight into a 15 minute Pranayama session
This Pranayama session is free and open to everyone, you do not need to attend the previous or later classes to attend
If you are taking the 6:30 p.m. class you are also welcome to complete the hour and stay on for the pranayama
You do not have to stay on and can leave straight after the asana practice
