Welcome to online body-doubling self-practice

together we can motivate ourselves onto the mat

  • Is it hard is it to get to your yoga mat?

  • Would you love a regular practice yet can’t find the mojo to get started or the momentum to keep going?

  • Do you think virtual companionship might help?

I plan to prioritise a little bit of rest and healing each day
and to consciously set time aside to be present with myself

I would love you to join me.



This is how it will work

  • I will be on my yoga mat and in the zoom room for self praccy at these start times.

Monday evenings 7:30 p.m

Tuesday evenings 7:00 p.m.

Wednesdays evenings 7:00 p.m.

Thursday mornings 9:00 a.m.

Friday mornings 11:00 a.m.

  • You need to be a Light Yoga Space member to join me in these sessions so check out the membership packages

  • If you need help signing on to a membership, message me and we can do it together

  • once you’re a member you will receive the self practice zoom link

  • The zoom link will be the same one for all self-practice sessions

  • The zoom meeting will be a private meeting so you will need to be let in by me. I will generally wait about 5 minutes after the start time to let you in. Once I start practice I tend to drop deep and don’t check messages or my screen. So if you are coming please let me know in advance by text or Whasapp and I will wait for you to arrive before starting.

  • Once we are in the zoom room I will welcome you to the practice then we will mute ourselves and each person will begin their own practice. These are self guided sessions

  • Camera on or off it is up to you

  • I will just be doing what I can manage. If you have more energy and less pain than me (highly likely) you are invited to follow your own energy and pace

  • If I am in pain one day or I'm tired, or resistant I may do very little that day, if I happen to feel free and energised I may do a little bit more, my overall commitment is to healing my nervous system and being connected. In the same vein you are encouraged to really tune in and listen to what you need in each practice ad to try not to be distracted by what anyone else is or isn’t doing

  • This is a judgment free zone

  • You are welcome to come ad-hoc as and when you want to, and do not need to commit to coming every day

  • Leave any time a 5 minute practice is still a practice

  • Everybody who is a member is welcome. For me this is a gentle, rehabilitative space and I particularly welcome people with chronic pain, chronic conditions, fatigue, neurodivergence, fat bodies, queer bodies, diverse bodies, diverse ethnicities, or anyone who just needs a safe, mirroring space to explore your own way forward at a pace that is yours and with zero pressure to perform

  • That said if you feel really dynamic one day, then do your thing and enjoy

  • There is a self practice whatsapp group for up to the minute info, such as last minute cancelations or extra sessions, send me a message if you’d like to be added to the group

  • If a session isn't happening it will be publicised on this timetable and whatsapp group so do check before attending just in case
