Yoga for Rest & Recovery
Ongoing 5-week courses
Small group yoga with mentoring courses
These courses focus on a restorative pace. Very gentle movement and stretch will be combined with supported recovery poses, and while we will very loosely navigate a classical Hatha yoga sequence the poses will all be practiced with support such as bolsters, cushions and blankets for a deep dive into rest, relaxation and recovery. Tips on purchasing bolsters OR making something that works with pillows and what you have at home coming soon.
This online course is especially helpful for these of us working with energy and pain issues, chronic conditions, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, long covid, longer term recovery from illness or injury, burnout, exhaustion, grief, loss, depression, anxiety, are just to name a few. The pace of the class will move slowly and everyone will be attended to gently. We will work with trial and error and in an experimental manner to mentor each individual to find a practice that feels good for you.
Led by a neurodivergent teacher with chronic illness. All my classes are neurodivergent friendly, fat friendly and queer and trans friendly.
