In-Person Yoga Course

EVERY BODY welcome

Please join us for this gentle 4-week course with Janice Kate

This course is for EVERY body but especially for those of you who think that you are too …..….. for yoga (fill in your own belief)


Week 1

In this first session we will practice introductory yogic breathing techniques, gentle slow poses and meditation. We will explore how to take breath work and meditation into our physical practice. 

Week 2

In this second session we will practice a little bit more movement and breathing. We will explore how to approach going deeper into a stretch using ‘letting go’, and breath, more than physical effort

Week 3.

In this third session we will get a bit more explorative with our physical practice and look at some more ‘complex’ yoga poses with the focus on how we can make yoga poses work for our own bodies. This session will be guided with a ‘zero pressure, less is more’ attitude

Week 4

In this final course session we will enjoy a practice that covers everything we have explored on the course so far with a special focus on the balance between effort and relaxation

Classes are kept small and welcoming: Maximum 6 people (minimum 4) 

No previous experience of yoga is required for you to attend.


Your Teacher

Janice Kate is a senior yoga teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. They have a particular interest in the somatic healing potential of the yoga practice, and working slowly and consciously, combining practices of poses, yogic breathing, deep relaxation and meditation techniques. Janice is a body positive fat positive yoga teacher and EVERY body is welcome
